Greetings,
Aimen is a Registered Psychotherapist certified by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Her passion for mental health and the human experience began during her undergraduate studies at York University, where she earned a BA Honors in Psychology with a minor in Rehabilitation Services. She went on to complete her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, further deepening her commitment to supporting individuals through life’s emotional, mental, and relational challenges. Aimen brings a strong foundation in psychological theory, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices, all tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, Aimen offers therapy in all three languages, building meaningful connections with clients from different cultural and social backgrounds.
I approach therapy as a collaborative and empowering process. Each session is an opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences with care, curiosity, and openness. I don’t view challenges as problems to be “fixed,” but rather as doorways into deeper self-understanding, growth, and transformation. What I strive to offer is a space that feels safe, accepting, and free of judgment. You are welcome to show up exactly as you are, with all your complexities, contradictions, and hopes. Our work will be guided by your story, your pace, and your unique essence.
What Sets Me Apart?
As a culturally sensitive and compassionate therapist, I feel honoured to have supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where people feel safe to show up as they are. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different communities, with a focus on issues such as depression and anxiety, grief and loss, the impact of life-changing illnesses, burnout, compassion fatigue, life transitions, family conflicts, gender-based violence, suicidal ideation, and academic stress. I use an array of therapeutic modalities such as solution-focused therapy, person-centred therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, cognitive behaviourial therapy, and trauma-informed care to approach your concerns.
I believe that each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding, even when life feels overwhelming. Starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you’re considering it, I invite you to reach out for a free initial consultation. This is your chance to ask questions, explore your goals, and get a sense of how we might work together.
You don’t have to face things alone. I’m here to support you — with compassion, presence, and care.
Your Partner in Healing, Growth, and Balance.
